A recent special report from Chemical Processing aims to help companies make better maintenance decisions via enterprise asset management (EAM) systems. The report highlights how to properly utilize asset criticality ranking (ACR) or equipment criticality ranking (ECR). ACR involves ranking assets based on a well-structured procedure. An asset gets marks for various parameters, with the consolidated score leading to its classification into a criticality category.
