New firmware version 4.5 for Emerson Process Management's Smart Wireless Gateways streamlines the wireless network interface, security setup and field device configuration with a consistent look and feel and simplified information presentation, according to the company. Visual feedback and information filtering are built into the software to support fast navigation. NAMUR symbols and organized table views provide-actionable information.Firmware version 4.5 also gives users quick access to field instrument diagnostic data for continuous monitoring of device health and the wireless network.
