WirelessHART Seminars Provide Insight On Wireless Communication Standard

Aug. 14, 2009

The HART Communication Foundation (www.hartcomm.org) is presenting educational seminars on WirelessHART technology in both the U.S. and Europe this fall. The seminars are part of an ongoing program to disseminate information to automation professionals on the first interoperable wireless communication standard for process monitoring and control applications.

Seminars in the U.S. are scheduled for Baton Rouge, La. (Oct 14); Joliet, Ill. (Oct 20); and Long Beach, Calif. (Oct 27). Dates and locations for seminars scheduled in Germany, Italy and Norway are to be announced. The one-day, vendor-neutral seminars are presented by industry specialists from the Foundation, ABB, Emerson Process Management, Endress+Hauser, Pepperl+Fuchs and Siemens.

Seminar topics include: understanding WirelessHART technology; using WirelessHART in the plant environment, planning a WirelessHART project; and live WirelessHART demonstrations.

There is no charge to attend the seminars but registration is required and seats are limited.
