I love a great parody. I’m a fan of Weird Al Yankovic and I marvel at his skill to take a popular song and put his spin on it. In fact, I think I enjoy his versions better than some of the originals. I even dabbled in the world of parody writing when I was younger (see Songwriters Wanted).
While I will definitely keep my day job, the world of pharmaceutical compliance has their very own parody rock star -- Laurie Meehan. Meehan is Polaris Compliance Consultants’ social media manager and writer of brilliant lyrics to some classic songs. Want proof? Check out her lyrics in "The Sound Of Compliance" (sung to the tune of Simon & Garfunkel’s "Sound Of Silence").
