Traci Purdum, Editor-In-Chief

Traci Purdum, an award-winning business journalist with extensive experience covering manufacturing and management issues, joined Chemical Processing as senior digital editor in 2008. Just prior to this role, she served as editor-in-chief of HVACR Business, a business-management magazine geared toward small-business owners in the heating and cooling industry. Additionally, she spent 10 years at IndustryWeek magazine. At that publication, which features articles and departments on management for executives at manufacturing companies, she worked as senior editor and director of the magazine’s flagship database projects. She also served as a judge for the magazine's Best Plants program, which honors the top manufacturing plants in North America.

Traci is a graduate of the Kent State University School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Kent, Ohio, and an alumnus of the Wharton Seminar for Business Journalists, Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
