Software Program Provides Centralized Monitoring

Mettler-Toledo has launched its ProdX advanced connectivity software program that allows centralized monitoring, control and data documentation for checkweighers, metal detectors and X-ray systems in single plant or multiple plants.

ProdX offers multiple product inspection devices that are integrated into a central monitoring system and can be monitored from multiple locations. The user interface features color-coded machine icons that provide at-a-glance device status and health so that interventions are planned rather than reactive for maximum productivity.

The ProdX dashboard provides critical early warning of key product quality indicators such as non-conforming raw materials from suppliers, automatic product rejections, and machinery maintenance requests.

Changes to product setups on multiple product inspection devices at one or more plant sites can be carried out simultaneously thereby reducing reliance on line operators. This can help reduce human error and keep product data secure. All data and performance levels are designed to be as transparent as possible. Standardized reporting meets the due diligence requirements from HACCP-based food safety plans. If there are any issues, ProdX will alert users to them.
