High-Temperature Accelerometer Offers Three-Point ARINC Mounting
Meggitt Sensing Systems' Endevco model 6233C is a highly rugged, high-temperature piezoelectric charge output accelerometer designed for continuous operation to +482°C (+900°F). The accelerometer features long mean time before failure, making it suitable for the high-precision vibration monitoring of high-temperature jet and turboprop engines, helicopter and rotorcraft HUMS, gas turbines and nuclear power plant machinery and equipment.
With available standard ranges of 10, 50 and 100 pC/g, the Endevco model 6233C offers a balanced differential output, performance stability over temperature and a wide operational bandwidth. Units are case isolated and feature standard three-point ARINC mounting and a rugged two-pin 7/16-27 UNS 2A threaded receptacle. As a self-generating device, the accelerometer requires no external power source for operation. At such high temperatures, the use of a charge amplifier or remote charge converter that can accept a 100 kΩ source resistance is required.
Recommended accessories for use with the Endevco model 6233C, sold separately, include the 6917B or 6917D high-temperature cable assembly, which offers performance up to +288°C (+550°F); the 6918M30 shielded hardline cable assembly, offering high-temperature operation to +482°C (+900°F); the model 2777A differential remote charge converter; and the model 6634C vibration amplifier. In addition, the Endevco model 6233C is accompanied by a comprehensive five-year product warranty and is available at specially discounted pricing as part of the Endevco competitive trade-in program.
