Compact Metal Detector Reliably Inspects Conveyed Products

Mettler-Toledo Safeline, maker of metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment, introduces the Compact metal detector. Delivering high performance sensitivity, it is said to detect and reliably reject ferrous, non-ferrous, and the normally difficult to detect stainless steel metal contaminants. 

The new Compact is offered in three 1-frequency and three 2-frequency combinations allowing adaptability for current and future products.  This eliminates the need to purchase a new metal detector in the future as products and specifications change for a cost savings.  Standard aperture sizes and frequencies allow shorter acquisition lead times.
