Dr. Kristen Kulinowski, a member of the U.S. Chemical Safety Board, will speak at the Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals & Resources Summit, June 5-7 in Calgary, according to an article from BOE Report. Dr. Kulinowski will address CSB’s recent investigations and how organizations within hazardous industries can boost efficiency and EH&S performance.
Recent high profile CSB investigations include the West Fertilizer explosion and fire, the Tesoro Martinez sulfuric acid spill and Williams Olefins plant explosion. The CSB is currently investigating spills and explosions at ExxonMobil, AirGas and Dupont facilities among others, according to the article. Over 200 operations, reliability and asset management leaders are expected to attend the event.
