Chilworth Technology has begun offering physico-chemical testing services for Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals (REACH), which will ensure accurate classification for transportation of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in the European Union (EU). The EU REACH regulation requires that SVHC either be declared as such and reported to the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) or replaced by less hazardous substances.
Chilworth services are designed to help U.S. companies that export products or substances to the European Union identify the physico-chemical properties of SVHC. The company promises customers that all EU regulatory requirements are met by providing documentation and preparation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for REACH compliance.
“Our new REACH services are designed for U.S. companies that have a new substance or mixture that they plan to market in the EU, as it will help ensure the material can be handled and transported safely,” said Vahid Ebadat, CEO of Chilworth.
