Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. announced that it will be hosting an Answers for Industry (AFI) Event in Houston and is looking at other potential cities in which to host similar events. The event in Houston will take place at the Hilton Americas July 14-16, 2009.
According to Siemens, these no-cost events are designed for manufacturers, engineers, OEMs, integrators and end users and feature seminars, hands-on technology demonstrations, networking and best practice sharing to help attendees answer the questions facing their industries today including productivity improvements, energy efficiency and flexibility on the plant floor and in the office.
In Houston, attendees will be able to customize their own agenda by choosing from more than 30 seminars given by industry experts on industrial energy management, ultra-efficient motors and drives, emissions monitoring, process safety, oil and gas industry standards, water and wastewater treatment solutions and more. Continuing education credits are also available for select seminars.
