Wachter Joins Charkit
Lee Wachter was named senior vice president of operations for Charkit.
Lee Wachter joined Charkit as senior vice president of operations. Wachter leads all global supply chain operations, including customer service, purchasing, logistics, third-party warehouses, materials management and information technology.
Wachter brings a wealth of experience to Charkit as a global operations and technology executive with 10 years of experience with private equity firms and 20 years leading Fortune 500, business to business and business to consumer companies. He is recognized for streamlining operations and creating technology architectures to drive revenue for a wide range of businesses, according to the company.
During the past 10 years, as founder and interim COO/CIO of Interactive Ingenuity, Wachter conducted due diligence, revitalized technology platforms and re-engineered operating procedures and global supply chains to support revenue growth and exit strategies for portfolio companies of private equity firms including Lineage Capital, Cordova, Smart and Williams and WAFRA Partners. Earlier in his career he served with companies including PepsiCo, Citibank, Diageo and Olympus.
Wachter holds a bachelor of science degree in finance and marketing from Syracuse University and an MBA from Northeastern University.
