Free webinar will demonstrate use of geometric process control to visualize, optimize and model operating windows and operating envelopes.
PPCL will host a free webinar on Sept. 11 across various time zones looking at how geometric process control (GPC) enables the visualization, optimization and modeling of operating envelopes and operating windows.
This live event will demonstrate how GPCs’ abilities to visualize, manipulate and model operating windows and operating envelopes are used for optimizing operating and alarm limits for process optimization, boundary control, condition monitoring and fault prediction for both batch and continuous processes.
These many applications all contribute to reducing variability of operations and hence reduce operating costs, usually without any capital expenditure. Participants will understand the relationship between operating windows and operating envelopes and see how to model operating envelopes as multi-dimensional geometric solids eliminating the challenge of algebra, calculus, equations or deploying statistics, neural nets or other advanced mathematical methods.
Many facilities handle dangerous processes and products on a daily basis. Keeping everything under control demands well-trained people working with the best equipment.
