Hamilton Scientific purchased the assets of Gibson Associates to strengthen its dealer presence in New England.
With the acquisition, Hamilton Scientific assumes all contracts under warranty including existing and future contracts of the Gibson Associates business and has renamed the operation, Laboratory Solutions of New England.
“The purchase of Gibson Associates assets allows our business to maintain a strong dealer presence in the New England region,” said Jack Roberts, Hamilton Scientific President/CEO. “Ensuring stabilization and continuity for our customers for current and future projects was the driving force behind the purchase.:
The Northeast is a critical growth region for Hamilton Scientific’s laboratory furniture and fume hood business, Roberts said.
Under the agreement, Hamilton Scientific retains the majority of Gibson employees who will run the day to day operations of the business.
