600 firefighters battled the blaze at the paraxylene plant.

An explosion at a chemical processing plant located in China's southeastern Fujian province required 600 firefighters to battle the blaze that ensued, according to CNN. The facility produces paraxylene, which is used in the production of polyester films and fabrics. Miraculously, only 6 people were injured in the blast, which occurred at an oil storage facility on April 6.
