Boulder Scientific Company (BSC), a supplier of high-performance organometallic compounds and complex synthetic chemistry capabilities, appoints Jim Giolitto as chief commercial officer (CCO). Serving on the BSC executive leadership team, Giolitto will lead the company’s product management, marketing, new business development and sales support teams. His appointment builds on BSC’s expanded investments in technology and talent following Rich Preziotti’s appointment as CEO in July 2021, according to the company.
Giolitto reportedly brings to his role more than two decades of experience leading strategic growth initiatives in advanced material markets. Prior to joining BSC, he served as vice president, specialty cemicals and materials sales for Entegris, leading engagement in diverse markets including catalysts, life sciences, semiconductor materials and aerospace. He previously led Entegris’ advanced deposition business unit providing ALD/CVD precursors to the semiconductor industry. Earlier in his career, he held positions in engineering, sales and business management at Air Products and Chemicals. Giolitto earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of California San Diego.
