The Society of Chemical Manufacturers & Affiliates (SOCMA) invites the industry back for more than two days of education, learning and best-practice sharing on key EHS, operations, supply chain and procurement topics, November 14-16, 2022, at the Royal Sonesta New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. SOCMA will also conduct its first in-person Annual Meeting in two years at the Summit.
Designed as an interactive conference, the 2022 SOCMA Summit facilitates information-sharing on relevant manufacturing and operations trends and regulations impacting specialty chemicals. Attendees will come away with a deeper understanding of current operational, trade and supply chain challenges, and develop solutions to overcome impediments to business success, according to the organization.
The schedule includes:
- Interactive breakouts on safety, transportation, audits, import/export clearance and more.
- General sessions on impacts of the U.S. mid-term elections and a changing global marketplace.
- Speed-rounds on improving system integrity and mechanical reliability of equipment, downstream supply chain practices and more.
- A new executive-only fishbowl.
- Special recognition of the 2022 Performance Improvement Award winners.
Professionals involved in plant/facility operations, procurement and trade, human resources and government relations are encouraged to attend along with executives charged with overall operations.
