According to the report, U.S. imports are tracking to be down nearly 5% by the end of 2020 (after rising 13%+ in the past 5 years). The Chemical & Allied Industries category accounts for more than 8% of all U.S. imports in 2020 and is one of the only categories growing this year. It has increased more than 9% year-over-year in share of imports.
