Dow will give up to $250,000 to Habitat for Humanity International to support European refugee relief efforts, according to an article at Chem.info. The company will make a direct donation of $200,000 to the non-profit housing organization, which it has worked with since 1983. Dow has also initiated a global employee matching grant program throughout the month of December worth up to $50,000, according to the article.

The monies will help provide basic necessities such as food, shelter and medical care, and support work in several countries including Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary.
