New Year Ushers In New President for European Federation of Chemical Engineering

Aim is to strengthen relationships among chemical engineers.

Professor Rafiqul Gani of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Lyngby, Denmark, will start a two-year term as president of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE) on Jan. 1. “I will use my term of office to strengthen relationships between chemical engineers in Europe and set some clear goals around which both national societies and specific technical communities can unite,” he says. He’ll reveal more details about his plans at a meeting of the EFCE General Assembly in February.
