NewAge Expands Purchasing Guide

May 1, 2012
Updated version provide 20 tips for tubing and hose selection.

NewAge Industries has updated its tubing and hose buying guide, now providing 20 tips on choosing plastic and rubber tubing and reinforced hose to help avoid application and purchasing errors. Originally containing 12 tips, the guide was developed to educate and remind engineers, purchasing agents, and anyone who buys tubing and hose of details and factors to consider during the selection process.

NewAge expanded the guide after realizing that buyers could use more advice on certain critical aspects of tubing and hose selection. Now the “Top 20” includes tips related to ingredients, temperature, corrosion resistance, flexibility, hardness and softness, pressure and vacuum requirements, reuse, clarity, quality, flammability, and packaging options.

The brochure is aimed to remind readers to investigate and ask questions before making the final decision and placing an order. It’s also intended to help customers avoid choosing the wrong tubing for the application and the subsequent inconvenience of order returns.
