Registration is now open for the Hydraulic Institute's (HI) 2009 Spring Meeting, which will be held at the Marriott Oak Brook Hills Resort in Oak Brook, Ill., from June 24 to June 27.
This forum is said to offer networking and educational opportunities for engineers, CEOs and human resource executives from pump and supplier companies. During the meeting, over 20 HI technical committees will gather to address industry standards, guidelines, electronic data exchange protocols, and more. Details on the work of each committee, including the status of the various standards and guidelines under development, are available on the HI Web site at www.Pumps.org/2009Spring. HI welcomes engineering consulting firms and pump users to participate in its technical committees as “Standards Partners,” whereby they establish a formal relationship with the Institute and its technical work efforts.
This year’s meeting also offers an opportunity for human resource executives and CEOs to collaborate at a new Human Resources Network and the CEO/HR Roundtable.
Registration is open to all HI members, associate members, committee members, “future engineering leaders” and prospective members. Prospective members (pump and supplier companies) as well as engineering consulting firms who are interested in becoming Standards Partners are requested to contact Mary Silver, director of member services, at 973-267-9700 Ext. 117 or via [email protected] before registering to discuss eligibility.
