K-Tron, along with Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems and Virto / Elcan, will offer a complimentary technical seminar on advancements in material handling and compaction technologies for dry powders.

The event takes place March. 6 and March 7 at the Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems facility in summit New Jersey. The seminar offers processors detailed information on the advances in material handling and compaction technologies for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

The seminar examines a wide variety of processing technologies and offers a technical overview introducing participants to methods of both improving current operations and utilizing new process technologies. It is recommended for anyone handling dry powders in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries, including scientists, engineers, production and manufacturing personnel, researchers, formulation scientists, product development and process transfer personnel. The program covers ingredient feeding, material handling via pneumatic conveying, compaction in the production of dense granules from fine powders, granulation and screening.
