Material Transfer Introduces Material Master V-Knife Bulk Bag Discharger

The Material Master Bulk Bag Discharging System with bag piercing knives discharges materials from bulk bags with or without outlet spouts into a customer's existing process. The system uses a 2-ton chain hoist with VFD to lift a bulk bag into a carbon steel discharge hopper. A stainless steel static bag piercing knife assembly completely empties bulk bags. The hopper features a full perimeter dust plenum with dust take off stub for product dust control. The hopper includes a pneumatic vibrator system to assist with product flow and an air actuated gate valve mounted at the bottom of hopper for product flow control. Removable side panels and a custom knife guard enhance operator access and safety during maintenance.
