Xylem has announced the rebranding of its industrial heat transfer brand known as ITT Standard. Now called Standard Xchange, the company says the new branding maintains a connection to its history as part of American Standard and ITT Standard.
The creation of a new brand name transpired as part of ITT Corp.'s 2011 spin off into Xylem, a global water technology company; ITT Exelis, a defense business; and ITT Corp., which continues as a standalone industrial products and services company.
"The change of our brand name is an important event for our customers and our employees," noted Tom Reid, director of Standard Xchange. "It signals our future in creating innovative heat transfer products and solutions, while referencing our 95-year heritage in serving the industrial process market."
