Spirax Sarco has released its schedule of training center courses for 2012, which focus on all aspects of steam energy. The curriculum’s objective is to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding about energy conservation and resource utilization. Training centers are located in Columbia, S.C., Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and Allentown, Pa.
Programs are designed for steam users involved in engineering, operation, and maintenance. Areas covered include energy management, HVAC, operations, piping and process design, project engineering, process engineering and maintenance. In addition to traditional applications, courses also cover the latest technical developments and product demonstrations are performed in a fully equipped steam lab.
Classes include: Fundamentals of Steam Utilization, Installation and Maintenance; Steam Traps and Condensate Pumps; Pressure and Temperature Controls; Steam System Design; Metering and Industrial Fluids; Clean Steam Utilization; Steam and Condensate Energy Savings; Steam Utilization in the Food and Beverage Industry; and Steam Utilization in the Hospital Industry. Classes also can be custom designed for small and large groups or to meet specific needs.
