Kaeser Compressors air main changing system prevents excessive air velocity at start-up
The Air Main Charging System (AMCS) prevents excessive air velocity at system start-up by continuously metering the amount of compressed air to maintain a set minimum pressure on the supply side and slowly charging the main distribution piping. This not only ensures the correct air quality, but protects and extends the life of filters, dryers and air treatment equipment. Made from quality components, the AMCS consists of a reliable pressure switch, a 5-way solenoid control valve with adjustable nozzles, and either a ball valve or butterfly valve with manual override. Available in three configurations, there's an Air Main Charging System designed to fit your compressed air installation.
