Summary

Spray drying is a widely utilized unit operation in the chemical processing industry for producing powders such as polymers, resins, catalysts, detergents, dyes, pigments, ceramics, and lithium-ion battery materials. Spraying Systems Co. has been a leader in the spray drying industry for more than 85 years, since its founding in 1937. In the spray drying process, a liquid feed is atomized into fine droplets by a spray nozzle and exposed to hot gas. The moisture quickly evaporates, leaving behind a dry powder. By optimizing the spray drying process and nozzles used, it is possible to achieve precise powder characteristics and enhance yield.

In this webinar, you will learn about:

• The Fundamentals of Spray Drying
• How to Choose the Right Nozzle Atomizer
• Common Applications and Solutions
• Key Challenges and Opportunities
