Liquid Level Sensor Adds Temperature Output

The AST45PT liquid level sensor provides two independent 4–20-mA output signals for both level and temperature measurements. According to the company, this single-instrument installation design helps save time and money. It includes measurement ranges from 1 psi (27.68-in. water column) to 100 psi (230.67-in. water column), five temperature ranges and eight cable length options.

A removable nose cone provides access to the ¼-in. NPT male pressure port. The sensor also has a ½-in. NPT conduit fitting at the electrical connection. Conduit can be installed over the cable to provide rigidity in turbulent tanks or protection from sharp objects.
