Hydraulic Institute to Offer Webinar on Slurry Pumps

Series begins on Oct. 29.
The Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter announce dates for the final slurry pumps three-part webinar series of 2013. The series will be led by slurry pump expert Robert Visintainer, vice president of engineering, research and development, GIW Industries.
The series begins on Oct. 29. Session 1 will cover slurry pump basics. Slurry pump design and testing will be discussed in Session 2. Session 3 will cover slurry pump wear and application.
Series registration is $229. Single-session registration is also available for $79 each. Advance registration is required, and HI Members receive a 25 percent discount on the regular registration fee. Series participants earn three PDH credits, or one PDH credit per session. On-demand links are made available to registrants who are unable to attend live sessions; however PDH credits are only awarded to registrants who attend live sessions.
