Koch Membrane Systems Inc. will introduce Targa II HF, a new hollow-fiber ultrafiltration membrane system, in June at American Water Works Association’s annual ACE11 conference.
Membrane and membrane filter manufacturer KMS will display the Targa II HF system and its other water-treatment solutions at booth 1937 at the conference scheduled for June 12-16 in Washington, D.C.
The Targa II HF system handles various ultrafiltration applications, including drinking water, seawater pretreatment, industrial water treatment and tertiary wastewater treatment. The membrane element features a PES membrane. The fibers can meet drinking-water requirements and provide 4-log virus removal.
The system includes intelligent process controls to handle variations in water quality and flow with minimal operator intervention, reduced chemical use and less energy.
KMS will also display its Puron MBR solution at ACE11. Puron technology produces effluent that can meet stringent water reuse and recycling requirements, according to KMS.
